Chateau Mcely Czechia

We have met with Serena in China and we have immediately we discovered that we share the passion for traveling and photography. We always dreamt about combining our passion and business and this gave birth to our destination wedding agency Lily Madonna. Since we started we have brought more than 100 couples from Asia to Europe to make their dreams about the traditional European wedding come true. Brides turned princesses in the castles and chateaus of the old continent and the guests from China enjoyed exceptional hospitality combined with rich cultural experiences so different from the wedding traditions in China.

Once it came to our own wedding we were looking for an exceptional location in my home country, the Czech Republic. After we visited the Chateau Mcely just 1 hour from Prague, we both knew this is the perfect place that combines world-class hospitality with a fairytale-like ambiance that can make every girl dream about becoming princess turn into reality.

We wanted to make everything very clean, natural and simple. We chose mainly green tones for the flower decoration and for the stationery. We opted for the ceremony on the grass in front of the chateau without carpet and banquet in the winter garden of the chateau which offers a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful natural surrounding of the chateau from the inside during the cool Czech evenings. Chateau Mcely is such a magical location that offers a unique combination of luxurious interiors with closeness to nature.

We had invited only 40 guests to our wedding, which was very hard but great decision. It created a unique intimate atmosphere that, I am convinced, all of the guests will keep in their memories forever. From the slight tension of the outdoor ceremony with uncertain weather, cheerful banquet and first dance in the delicately decorated patio, improvised discotheque in the main restaurant with my father taking the stage with his beloved guitar to the unforgettable sun-filled breakfast the next day with all our closest family and friends enjoying the views over the distant golden fields of the surrounding countryside.
